The FLIR A300F Fixed Mount Security/Automation Thermal Imaging Cameras are capable of capturing 16-bit, 320 x 240p, radiometric thermal images, as well as outputting composite videos to the user’s PC via an Ethernet interface. They also include a built-in web server and can support MPEG-4 streaming.

It is possible to use multiple FLIR A300F Fixed Mount Security/Automation Thermal Imaging Cameras in conjunction with each other, allowing the user to monitor large sites or areas. These cameras are easy to set up and operate; they synchronise via SNTP.

It is possible to install these cameras outside as, unlike their sister products the FLIR A300 Automation Thermal Imaging Cameras, they feature a rugged, IP66-rated housing. As a result of their durable designs, remote communication and thermal imaging capabilities, the FLIR A300F Fixed Mount Security/Automation Thermal Imaging Cameras can be used in the following capacities:
