Built for use both indoors and outdoors, this thermal camera CCTV security system is perfect for use in substations, warehouses and anywhere else you need to protect.
Equipped with both a high quality thermal and a Sony CCD digital camera, the FLIR A310PT can detect and relay images and videos in both digital and thermal formats simultaneously. This data is transmitted over a configured ethernet network to a control point, allowing security personnel to view and track problems.
The camera can be remote controlled using software, and can pan, tilt and zoom to get in closer to an application. It's also possible to configure the unit to automatically transmit alerts and sound the alarm when heat spikes are detected, helping to flag problems such as overheating components or to detect the body heat of unauthorised humans within the vicinity.
This video, courtesy of FLIR, shows how the camera works.
This camera is IP66 rated, with protective environmental housing against damage from the weather. It even includes built-in heaters that'll melt ice off the screen so it can be used in cold conditions!
