The FLIR A320 Industrial Automation/ Temperature Screening IR Camera is a fixed mounted, radiometric thermal camera capable of taking non-contact temperature measurements. It can be used to monitor equipment to detect temperature increases that may be indicative of potential faults. This IR camera also serves as an effective diagnostic tool alongside other clinical procedures; it is suitable for temperature screening applications and can detect elevated human body temperatures, possibly caused by illness. The FLIR A320 Industrial Automation/ Temperature Screening IR Camera is equipped with an advanced, uncooled microbolometer focal plane array (FPA) detector which facilitates the capture of crisp, longwave images in an array of thermal colour palettes. It is capable of capturing 16-bit, 320 x 240px (76 800 pixels) image data which is subsequently sampled by the FLIR A320 Industrial Automation/ Temperature Screening IR Camera’s onboard electronics and software to determine temperatures for each pixel. The FLIR A320 Industrial Automation/ Temperature Screening IR Camera is capable of measuring temperature differences as slight as 0.08°C and will automatically generate digital alarms when anomalous temperatures have been detected.

Triggered alarms cause emails to be sent wirelessly or via SMTP/ FTP protocols to a designated reciever. Furthermore, FLIR A320 Industrial Automation/ Temperature Screening IR Camera supports real-time analogue and digital MPEG-4 videos allowing the user to monitor sites and machinery in real-time.

Accessing and setting multiple target spots and temperature alarms, as well as altering temperature ranges and image colour palettes is easy via the logic and menu-driven controls. Alternatively, the FLIR A320 Industrial Automation/ Temperature Screening IR Camera can be operated remotely over the internet or using TCP/IP protocols.

‘Plug and Play’ compatibility and fully configurable GPIO and V-sync functionality means the FLIR A320 Industrial Automation/ Temperature Screening IR Camera can be easily set up and integrated into machine vision and automation systems. Moreover, onboard IR Monitor Software means the FLIR A320 Industrial Automation/ Temperature Screening IR Camera can be used in conjunction with other FLIR A320 Thermal Cameras.

The FLIR A320 Industrial Automation/ Temperature Screening IR Camera does not require a local power supply as it supports Power Over Ethernet (POE). It is also lightweight and IP40-rated.
