- FLIR GF309 w/14.5° Lens Furnace Camera (14.5° × 10.8°)
- FLIR GF309 w/24° Lens Furnace Camera (24° x 18°)
FLIR’s GF309 infrared camera has been engineered to “see through flames” specialised for use in various types of gas fired furnaces and chemical/petrochemical applications, it can also be used for electrical and mechanical inspections thanks to the wide temperature range (-40 °C to +1500 °C.) and excellent thermal sensitivity (<25 mK) making it an extremely versatile camera.
The GF309 provides temperature readings across the whole surface of the furnace/ heater or boiler thanks to the mid-wave infrared flame filter designed for use in high temperatures with an accuracy of ±2% (of reading for temperature ranges of +100°C), giving you accurate and fast results which can help to prevent shut downs and failures. The mid-wave infrared spectrum allows the user to inspect fired tubes for coking and scaling, see slag and ash build up, and check burner alignment and flame impingement.
A detachable nickel coated heat shield is included and is designed to reflect heat away from the camera and camera operator due to the contoured design, improving user safety and comfort during inspections, especially in high-temperature environments.
The camera features a tiltable OLED adjustable viewfinder which helps avoid strain especially after using for long periods of time.
The LCD delivers crisp image and colour reproduction even in poor lighting and bright sunlight, in addition to a 4.3” colour LCD screen. The camera is loaded with features making it easy for users to capture videos and stills whilst effortlessly scanning large areas. FLIR GF309 cameras are recordable to any off-the-shelf video recorder for easy archiving and documentation. The camera supports GPS location tagging, allows you to create reports and analyses of your findings, supports radiometric JPG and video (15Hz), record digital video and the built-in digital camera features a 3.2 Megapixel sensor, autofocus, and two video lamps.
The menu system is operated by a joystick and direct access buttons allowing you to easily access menus and settings making it intuitive and easy to use by professionals.
