Please note that the FLIR T860 High-Performance Thermal Imaging Camera is also compatible with an OPTIONAL 6° telephoto lens. When used with this lens the FLIR T860 High-Performance Thermal Imaging Camera can view small targets over long distances.

Thermal Imaging

In order to capture clear, detailed thermal images with precise temperature data, the FLIR T860 High-Performance Thermal Imaging Camera is equipped with laser-assisted autofocus and a 1-touch level span. It also features an IR resolution of 640 x 480px (307 200 pixels) and a temperature range of -20°C to +2000°C. The FLIR T860 High-Performance Thermal Imaging Camera is able to measure temperatures to an accuracy of ±2°C.

In addition to this, the FLIR T860 High-Performance Thermal Imaging Camera is equipped with a variety of thermal imaging functions, such as:

  • Digital zoom: 1-8x
  • Picture-in-Picture mode: magnify a specific area of the image without losing the overall FOV
  • Proprietary adaptive filtering: reduces noise in order to produce a high-quality, accurate thermal image
  • MSX®: overlays visible images (captured using the 5MP digital camera) onto thermal images to increase picture clarity and detail
  • UltraMax®: captures a series of thermal images and combines the data to increase the thermal resolution to 1 228 800px

The FLIR T860 High-Performance Thermal Imaging Camera also includes a range of selectable colour palettes (iron, grey, rainbow, arctic, lava and rainbow HC) and measurement and analysis tools, such as spotmeters, hot spots, cold spots and on-screen area calculations.

The FLIR T860 High-Performance Thermal Imaging Camera's thermal technology and thermal imaging functions ensure that it is able to detect failing or faulty components in all light conditions.

Ergonomic Design

Similarly, the FLIR T860 High-Performance Thermal Imaging Camera’s 180° rotating optical block ensures that it is able to inspect systems from all angles.

Other practical features included on this infrared camera include an integrated eye-piece viewfinder and a vibrant, 4” colour LCD display for viewing thermal images.

Intelligent User Interface and Software

Captured thermal images may be organised into customisable work files; thermal media can be saved with voice or text annotations. To facilitate quick report generation and automated data management, these files can be exported to the FLIR Thermal Studio Software included with these cameras. Alternatively, IR images can be sent to a smartphone or tablet via the Fluke Tools App and using the FLIR T860 High-Performance Thermal Imaging Camera’s Wi-Fi connectivity.

The FLIR T860 High-Performance Thermal Imaging Camera has been optimised to improve the speed, precision and simplicity of predictive/ preventative maintenance applications. To this end, it may be used with an OPTIONAL Inspection Routing module to plan and upload customised survey routes, as well as organise images and data according to location.
