These cameras have been optimised for use with sUAS such as drones, making them particularly useful for thermographers and drone operators requiring a method by which to gather aerial, non-contact, radiometric thermal data. They can be easily integrated into MAVLink systems.
The FLIR Vue Pro R 336 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Cameras are ideal for inspecting buildings, roofs and power grids, as well as conducting analysis of infrastructure. They are also useful for public safety applications and precision agriculture.
As these cameras have been optimised for airborne applications their image settings have been configured for this purpose. However; the user is able to alter the FLIR Vue Pro R 336 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Cameras’ recording and control settings via the FLIR Vue Pro App. Moreover, the camera’s functions can be adjusted using the PWM inputs emitted from the drone’s controller.
Each of these cameras is equipped with a 336 x 256-pixel thermal sensor which is able to capture thermal images with accurate, calibrated, radiometric temperature information within each pixel. These images can be saved as radiometric JPEGs to the FLIR Vue Pro R 336 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Cameras’ onboard micro-SD cards. When saved in this format the temperature information is retained and embedded within each pixel. Alternatively, still images may be saved in a 14-bit TIFF format.
In addition to capturing still, radiometric images, the FLIR Vue Pro R 336 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Cameras can be used to record real-time, MOV, thermal videos. These videos may be saved to the micro-SD card or may be exported as analogue video via the 10-pin mini-USB connector. The user is also able to power the FLIR Vue Pro R 336 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Camera via the 10-pin mini-USB connector.
Using FLIR’s Tools Software (NOT included), exported thermal media and data may be subjected to post-flight analysis and can be used to create reports. In addition to their compatibility with FLIR Tools Software, the FLIR Vue Pro R 336 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Cameras also support field-upgradeability ensuring that they are always equipped with the latest features and functions. This means that the cameras are always able to keep up with the demands of the industry thereby extending their longevity.
The FLIR Vue Pro R 336 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Cameras are optimised for aerial applications and are ideal for public safety, analysis, inspection and agricultural applications requiring calibrated, accurate, aerial thermal data.
