The FLIR Vue Pro R 640 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Cameras are available in three models that differ in regards to their lens sizes and FOVs. Please see the table below for further details.
Model Code | Model Name | Lens Size | FOV |
436-0022-00 | FLIR Vue Pro R 640 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Camera, 9mm, 69 x 56 | 9mm | 69° x 56° |
436-0023-00 | FLIR Vue Pro R 336 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Camera, 13mm, 45 x 37 | 13mm | 45° x 37° |
436-0024-00 | FLIR Vue Pro R 336 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Camera, 19 mm, 32 x 26 | 19mm | 32° x 26° |
Each of these cameras is equipped with a 640 x 512-pixel thermal sensor and has been optimised for use with sUAS such as drones. They can be easily integrated into MAVLink systems and their camera functions may be altered using PWM inputs emitted from the drone’s remote controller. It is also possible to alter the camera’s control and recording settings via the FLIR Vue Pro App.
However, as these imagers have been optimised for aerial operations, their image settings have been configured for this purpose. As a result, the FLIR Vue Pro R 640 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Cameras are ideal for gathering aerial, non-contact, radiometric thermal images and footage. This makes the FLIR Vue Pro R 640 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Cameras suitable for conducting inspections of buildings, roofs and power grids, as well as analysing infrastructure. They are also particularly well suited to public safety and precision agriculture applications.
Images captured using these cameras contain accurate, calibrated, radiometric thermal data within each pixel; this information is retained when the image is saved as a radiometric JPEG file. Still images may also be saved in a 14-bit TIFF format and real-time thermal footage is recorded in a MOV format. Media is saved to the FLIR Vue Pro R 640 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Cameras’ onboard micro-SD cards.
Analogue video can be exported via the 10-pin mini-USB connector and it is also possible to charge the FLIR Vue Pro R 640 Radiometric Cameras via this connection. As the FLIR Vue Pro R 640 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Cameras are compatible with the FLIR Tools Software (NOT included), exported media can be analysed and used to create reports post-flight.
In addition to compatibility with the FLIR Tools Software, the FLIR Vue Pro R 640 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Cameras also support field upgradeability ensuring that the cameras are able to keep up with the demands of the industry.
Thermographers and drone operators may find the FLIR Vue Pro R 640 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Cameras of particular use when conducting airborne inspection, analytical, agricultural and public safety operations.
