The Fluke RSE600 Radiometric Thermal Imaging Cameras are specifically designed for scientific, research and engineering applications. They are Fluke’s first mountable, fully radiometric cameras. These cameras may be mounted to the user’s workstation and will stream IR footage to his/her PC continuously. These cameras are available in two models with different frame rates:

  • 4948175 – Fluke RSE600 Radiometric Thermal Imaging Camera – 9Hz
  • 4944826 - Fluke RSE600 Radiometric Thermal Imaging Camera – 60Hz

Both of the Fluke RSE600 Radiometric Thermal Imaging Cameras have an accuracy of ±2°C/ ±2% and are able to detect temperatures between -10°C and +1200°C. They both have a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels (307 200 pixels), a field-of-view of 34°H x 25.5°V, and include a MultiSharp™ Focus which will automatically focus the camera throughout its FOV. The MultiSharp™ Focus eliminates the possibility of misdiagnosis.

Moreover, these IR imagers are compatible with Fluke’s 2x and 4x telephoto, wide angle and macro lenses allowing the user to tailor the Fluke RSE600 Radiometric Thermal Imaging Cameras to the application. Via the addition of an appropriate Fluke lens, the Fluke RSE600 Radiometric Thermal Imaging Cameras can be adapted to capture close-up details or to perform analysis at a distance.

Streamed IR data can be analysed frame-by-frame using one of Fluke’s compatible software programs. The Fluke RSE600 Radiometric Thermal Imaging Cameras include plug-ins for Fluke’s research and development MATLAB® and LabVIEW® software programs; they are also compatible with Fluke’s SmartView® Software (NOT included, available for free download). Using the aforementioned software programs the user is able to view and analyse thermal data remotely.

The Fluke SmartView® Software allows the user to alter the colour palettes of IR images and footage facilitating the user’s ability to view particular aspects of the picture in greater detail. This software provides access to the following sixteen colour palettes supported by the Fluke RSE600 Radiometric Thermal Imaging Cameras:

The Fluke SmartView® Software can also be used to operate the Fluke RSE600 Radiometric Thermal Imaging Cameras. The user is able to manually adjust the camera’s zoom (variable up to 16x) and alter the focus. It is also possible to engage one of the following IR-Fusion imaging modes using the Fluke SmartView® Software:

  • AutoBlend™
  • Picture-in-Picture (PIP)
  • IR/ Visible Alarm
  • Full IR
  • Full Visible Light (RSE600 cameras include an integrated 5MP visible-light camera)

Images and footage captured by the Fluke RSE600 Radiometric Thermal Imaging Cameras can be saved and exported in radiometric and non-radiometric formats using the Fluke SmartView® Software. They can also be incorporated into professional reports created using the Fluke SmartView® Software.

Alternatively, images and footage can be viewed, edited and shared using the Fluke Connect® App and a smartphone or tablet.
