The Fluke TiR27 is the introductory model in Fluke's TiR range of thermal cameras for use in building applications.
Although technically the model with the least features in the TiR range this thermal imaging system is still packed full of advanced features and is an ideal testing device for any building professional. It can be used for a wide variety of applications within building work including detecting hidden moisture built-up in walls, floors and ceilings, detecting heat loss through poor insulation and can be used as a comprehensive tool for carrying out extensive energy surveys of properties in order to improve the building's energy efficiency.

Fluke IR Fusion Technology Included
Thermal images, when produced normally, are generally quite hard to interpret. As the imager doesn't see the world as visible light (and instead detects IR radiation) the detail of objects that the camera was pointing at can be lost, leading to confusion about what the image might be showing. If you're testing extensively over a time period and take lots of images, its extremely easy to lose the thermal image you're looking for.
By using Fluke's IR Fusion technology the TiR27 is able to counteract this problem. This mode blends together a thermal image with a conventional digital image automatically, enhancing the detail of the thermal image and making it extremely easy to pick out exactly what the camera was pointing at when capturing. It also makes it much easier to spot how heat is distributed over the application captured.
In addition to this mode the TiR27 also includes a built-in Picture-in-Picture mode which places a digital image on top of a thermal image but does not actively blend the two together to make one image.
Comprehensive Database of Thermal Images
The TiR27 ships as standard with a large size SD card, allowing a significant amount of images to be stored directly on the device. It's also easy to browse through captured images as the TiR27 includes a thumbnail viewing system for choosing exactly which image you want and allows you to view it back on the camera. The SD card can also be removed and placed inside the included SD card reader to download the images to PC and view them in the included SmartView software package.
In addition to this it is also possible for the user to use their voice to add annotations to each thermal image for pointing out detail quickly and easily. Voice annotations can last for up to 60 seconds and are automatically attached to the assigned image.
High Quality Imagery
The Fluke TiR27 uses a 240 x 180 detector to produce high quality thermal images. The detail of these images is further enhanced by the inclusion of high thermal sensitivity, focus adjustments, emissivity adjustments and more to produce crisp thermal images that make it easy to clearly see how temperature is distributed over an area.
In building applications where heat loss is of extreme importance, the Fluke TiR27 gives users all of the tools they need to take corrective action against this problem.
Capable of surviving drops of up to 2m, the Fluke TiR27 has been extensively abused by Fluke before its release to make sure the tester is as rugged and reliable as possible before it hit the market for sale.
This means the thermal camera can comfortable survive most common forms of stress such as accidental bumps and knocks, scratches etc and can also survive being directly dropped even onto harder surfaces. It even includes IP54 protection, which ensures that the effects of dust and water don't stop the TiR27 from operating comfortably.
Swap Your Thermal Lens
The standard lens that ships with the TiR27 can be exchanged for an alternative photo or wide-angle lens to change the field of view of the camera.
