The Hikmicro Thunder TH35 Handheld Thermal Monocular is an infrared-imaging handheld monocular and clip-on scope. It delivers clear thermal footage in darkness, fog, smoke, dust, rain, snow and foliage. The Hikmicro Thunder TH35 Handheld Thermal Monocular is available in two models. Both are equipped with a 384 x 288px thermal detector and a 35mK thermal sensitivity; however, these versions differ in regards to the resolution of their 0.39-inch OLED displays and their supplied accessories (see ‘What’s Included?’). The Hikmicro Thunder TH35 Handheld Thermal Monocular’s OLED display provides vivid colours and a wide viewing angle while lowering power consumption. This infrared-imaging monocular also offers four thermal imaging palettes, allowing the user to adapt the Hikmicro Thunder TH35 for use in various scenarios, a Picture-in-Picture mode, and 8x digital zoom. In addition to this, the Hikmicro Thunder TH35 Handheld Thermal Monocular includes five selectable reticles in three colours. It supports reticle zeroing allowing the user to save up to five zeroing profiles for different distances.
Videos and images can be saved to the Hikmicro Thunder TH35 Handheld Thermal Monocular’s 16GB EMMC. Users can record videos to their smartphone or tablet, as well as alter the monocular’s zoom, via Hikmicro’s T-Vision app and a Wi-Fi connection. The Hikmicro Thunder TH35 Handheld Thermal Monocular features a built-in Wi-Fi module.
To ensure suitability for hunting, tracking and patrolling/ security applications, the Hikmicro Thunder TH35 Handheld Thermal Monocular has been designed to include a rugged, waterproof, metal casing that provides shock resistance of up to 750 g/ms and protection against rain and snow. Moreover, the Hikmicro Thunder TH35 Handheld Thermal Monocular, which has an ingress protection rating of IP67, will remain functional after submersion in water for up to thirty minutes.
Furthermore, the Hikmicro Thunder TH35 Handheld Thermal Monocular is supplied with two, easy-to-install CR123A batteries. These batteries provide a maximum of 4.5 hours of continuous power. To conserve power, the Hikmicro Thunder TH35 Handheld Thermal Monocular features a Standby mode, which switches off the OLED display without affecting the scope’s other functions. This means that the Hikmicro Thunder TH35 Handheld Thermal Monocular can be rapidly powered up the moment it is required.
