Metrel MD 9910 Thermal Imaging Camera (50Hz)

Compact, durable and simple-to-use, the Metrel MD 9910 Thermal Imaging Camera is ideal for finding stressed overcurrent and overvoltage protection, unnecessary friction in motor axles, and damaged contacts on electrical switchboards and distribution boards.

This infrared-imaging camera has a thermal resolution of 80x80px, a fast frame rate of 50Hz and a 21° x 21° field-of-view. It is also equipped with an LED flash. The Metrel MD 9910 Thermal Imaging Camera’s short focal length means it can be used to inspect large areas quickly while its manually set span allows the user to take advantage of the thermal resolution.

Thermal images can be viewed in five different colour palettes. The Hold Image function freezes the current infrared image on the display. The Metrel MD 9910 Thermal Imaging Camera also features a Lock and Compare function.

In addition to capturing thermal images, the Metrel MD 9910 Thermal Imaging Camera can be used to measure temperature and temperature differences. To this end, each IR picture includes a centre temperature marker and hot- and cold-spot markers. The Metrel MD 9910 Thermal Imaging Camera can measure temperatures between -20°C and +380°C to an accuracy of ±2°C/2%. Users can view temperature readings in either °C, °F or K.

Thermal images can be saved to the Metrel MD 9910 Thermal Imaging Camera’s internal memory. Furthermore, compatibility with Metrel’s aMIRA App and Bluetooth connectivity means that captured thermal images can be downloaded to an Android smartphone or tablet. The user can also share thermal pictures with relevant persons via Bluetooth.

The Metrel MD 9910 Thermal Imaging Camera has been optimised for time-consuming applications in rugged environments. As such, it has been drop-tested from 2m and is powered by a rechargeable battery capable of providing up to four to five hours of operating time.
