Optimised for outdoor applications such as hunting, spotting and scouting, the Pulsar XM30 Axion Key Thermal Imaging Monocular has a resilient, small, lightweight design and features high optic magnification and a long detection range. The Pulsar XM30 Axion Key Thermal Imaging Monocular can be used in various light conditions and is able to see through total darkness.

Thermal Imaging Technology

As mentioned above, the Pulsar XM30 Axion Key Thermal Imaging Monocular has a long detection range (up to 1200m) and high optic magnification (2.5-10, x4 zoom), this is facilitated by its compact thermal sensor with a 12 µm pixel pitch. The thermal sensor has a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. The Pulsar XM30 Axion Key Thermal Imaging Monocular also has a frame rate of 50Hz and a field-of-view of 7.8° x 5.9°.

Crisp, clear thermal pictures with vivid colours are viewable via the LCOS microdisplay. The Pulsar XM30 Axion Key Thermal Imaging Monocular features a range of user-selectable colour palettes.

This infrared monocular also includes a digital zoom feature and a Picture-in-Picture function. The PIP function allows the user to magnify targets without losing the overall field-of-view. A smaller, secondary image displays the magnified target.

Rugged, Compact, Lightweight Design

As the Pulsar XM30 Axion Key Thermal Imaging Monocular is optimised for time-consuming outdoor applications such as hunting, scouting and spotting, it has been equipped with a mini B-pack power system capable of providing the IR monocular with in excess of four hours of operating time (temperature: 22°C).

Additionally, the Pulsar XM30 Axion Key Thermal Imaging Monocular’s innovative electronics work to extend this instrument’s battery life: quick start-up saves power thereby extending the operating time.

The Pulsar XM30 Axion Key Thermal Imaging Monocular’s batteries can be removed from the body of this instrument to be re-powered using the charging station. Alternatively, the supplied USB cable allows the batteries to be recharged whilst in the unit.

The Pulsar XM30 Axion Key Thermal Imaging Monocular’s lightweight, ergonomic design with user-friendly controls ensures that it is comfortable-to-use over prolonged periods of time. It can be held comfortably in a single hand and is constructed from a magnesium alloy which works to reduce the weight of the unit (weighs less than 300g). When not in use, the Pulsar XM30 Axion Key Thermal Imaging Monocular may be stored in a pocket.

The magnesium alloy also provides the Pulsar XM30 Axion Key Thermal Imaging Monocular with high structural-rigidity and ruggedness.

In addition to this, the waterproof, IPX7-certified design of the Pulsar XM30 Axion Key Thermal Imaging Monocular ensures that it is resistant to precipitation such as snow and heavy rainfall. The Pulsar XM30 Axion Key Thermal Imaging Monocular can be submerged in up to three feet of water for approximately thirty minutes without sustaining any damage.

The Pulsar XM30 Axion Key Thermal Imaging Monocular is a durable, compact and lightweight infrared monocular that can be used to see through total darkness, making it ideal for hunting, spotting and scouting applications.
