The Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 Night Vision Weapon Scope is a highly sensitive, rugged and adaptable rifle sight featuring innovative electronic components, sophisticated signal processing algorithms and dedicated Pulsar software. As a result, the Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 Night Vision Weapon Scope offers high night vision sensitivity ensuring that it can perform consistently and flawlessly in passive mode (without using IR illumination) in deep twilight and at night.

High Power IR Illuminator

The Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 Night Vision Weapon Scope’s long-range IR illuminator with a wavelength of 850nm makes it ideal for observing remote objects. The IR illuminator features three adjustable power levels allowing the hunter to tailor the scope to the application by selecting the most effective IR illumination level and range.

Night Vision Range

The Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 Night Vision Weapon Scope has a detection distance of 550m. This is facilitated by its high NV sensitivity, high-resolution display, high magnification and high-powered IR illuminator (see above).

Night Vision Imaging

Using the highly sensitive CMOS sensor with a 1280 x 720px HD resolution, the Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 Night Vision Weapon Scope is able to capture high definition infrared images and footage with precise detail rendering.

The Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 Night Vision Weapon Scope also includes an array of settings, features and modes designed to ensure accurate, adaptable imaging and therefore precise shot placement.

SumLight Function

The SumLight function utilises the Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 Night Vision Weapon Scope’s sophisticated signal-processing algorithms to improve night vision sensitivity without compromising image quality. The SumLight function engages algorithms designed for summing adjacent pixel signals and adding frames to improve sensitivity. This function is useful for passive observation (with IR illumination switched off) during low light at night.

Picture-in-Picture Mode

The Picture-in-Picture mode allows the user to see the aiming area in greater detail without compromising the overall field-of-view. The magnified target/ reticle area is indicated in a frame 1/10th the size of the Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 Night Vision Weapon Scope’s FOV.

Variable Magnification

The Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 Night Vision Weapon Scope is equipped with optical magnification and 4x digital zoom. The digital zoom increases and decreases in increments of 2x across a range of 4.5x to 18x; this allows the user to create a customised field-of-view.

Accurate Zoom Zeroing

The Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 Night Vision Weapon Scope can be zeroed at basic magnification or at a zoom (the click value decreases as the zoom increases). When at maximum magnification the reticle step will be less than 0.1 MOA. The aiming point is stable throughout the magnification range.

Five Shooting Profiles

The hunter can save up to five shooting profiles, each optimised for use with various rifles and cartridges, to the Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 Night Vision Weapon Scope. Each of these shooting profiles may contain ten zeroing distances.

Ten Reticle Shapes in Six Colour Modes

The Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 Night Vision Weapon Scope’s reticles are electronic, therefore, they are always placed in the same plane as the target. The Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 Night Vision Weapon Scope offers a selection of ten reticles including direct shot type, ballistic, scalable and regular to name a few. All ten of the Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 Night Vision Weapon Scope’s reticle types are available in six colours.

Scalable Ballistic Reticles

Ballistic reticles are scaled in reference to the Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 Night Vision Weapon Scope’s magnification changes. The angular parts remain constant enabling quick distance measurements. As a result, the hunter is able to adapt his/her weapon quickly to accommodate changing distances.

Stadiametric Rangefinder

Using known heights, the stadiametric rangefinder is able to calculate the distance to the target. This rangefinding scale utilises the following known heights:

  • Deer = 1.7m
  • Wild Boar = 0.7m
  • Rabbits = 0.3m

Integrated Accelerometer/ Gyroscope

In addition to determining distances, the Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 Night Vision Weapon Scope includes an accelerometer/ gyroscope that is able to detect and display tilt and angles greater than 5°. An arrow indicates the degree and direction of lateral tilting with multiple arrows denoting increased angles. This works to improve the precision of shot placement.

The accelerometer/ gyroscope can also be used to improve user safety as the Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 Night Vision Weapon Scope can be programmed to switch off when a non-shooting position is detected, for instance when a vertical angle of 70° or more is detected and/or when a horizontal angle of 30° or greater is detected.

Built-in Video Recorder

The hunter can capture and save infrared images and footage to the Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 Night Vision Weapon Scope’s internal memory. Night vision media may be transferred to a PC/ laptop or a smartphone/ tablet via a wired or wireless connection.

Pulsar Stream Vision App

Via a Wi-Fi connection and using the Pulsar Stream Vision App (available for free for iOS and Android), the hunter can stream IR images and footage to his/her smartphone/ tablet. Additionally, this app can be used to stream footage to YouTube.

Moreover, the Pulsar Stream Vision App enables the installation of new software and firmware updates to the Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 Night Vision Weapon Scope, and can be used to operate the infrared riflescope remotely via a smartphone/ tablet.

Ergonomic Design

Night vision images and footage are viewable via the Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 Night Vision Weapon Scope’s frost-resistant AMOLED display. The display maintains the sight’s fast frame rate even at low temperatures providing the user with crisp, fluid footage and enabling the tracking of fast-moving game.

Moreover, the combined imaging capabilities of the Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 Night Vision Weapon Scope’s HD AMOLED display and its six-lens, wide-angle eyepiece provides the hunter with a deep and rich image. Additionally, the six-lens, wide-angle eyepiece offers a field-of-view that is 20% greater than previous Pulsar Digisight Ultra Riflescopes.

In addition to a frost-resistant display, the Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 Night Vision Weapon Scope features a fully waterproof, IPX7-rated, rugged design optimised to ensure the riflescope remains operational in temperatures spanning -25°C to +50°C. Furthermore, its waterproof construction ensures that it is suitable for use in intense rain and snow and will remain functional even after submersion in 1m of water for up to thirty minutes.

This rugged infrared riflescope also has a high recoil resistance rating: 12 gauge, 9.3x64, .375 H&H. The Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 Night Vision Weapon Scope’s high shock resistance expands its scope-for-use as it can be used with a range of weapons including smooth-bore and airsoft, as well as rifled hunting weapons for 9.3x64, 30-06, .300 and .375 cartridges.

Due to the reticle’s increased vertical and horizontal travel range, the Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 can be installed onto rifles that use cartridges with a steep ballistic trajectory without using changing mounts or rails. Additionally, an increased vertical and horizontal travel range (2m at 100m, a 25% increase compared to other Pulsar models) enables zeroing at close and long ranges.

Power and Operating Time

The Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 Night Vision Weapon Scope has an operating time of up to five hours. It is powered by a progressive, autonomous B-pack power supply comprised of a quick-detach, rechargeable IPS5 5A-h battery pack.

This night vision rifle sight can also be powered using IPS10 battery packs (NOT included) or AA battery cases (NOT included).

To conserve power, the Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 Night Vision Weapon Scope features an instant start-up: within three seconds of pressing the ON button the riflescope will have powered on. This allows the user to leave the scope switched off until the moment it is required, conserving battery life and extending the Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 Night Vision Weapon Scope’s operating time.

The Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 Night Vision Weapon Scope is a versatile, resilient and precise infrared imaging rifle sight.
