The Pulsar Forward FN455 Digital Night-Vision Monocular can be used to convert daytime optical sights into night-vision sights.

Night Vision Imaging

Pulsar’s proprietary software, cutting-edge electronic components and signal-processing algorithms equip the Pulsar Forward FN455 Digital Night-Vision Monocular with high infrared (night vision) sensitivity. This night-vision scope delivers excellent passive-mode observation with and without IR illumination. Indeed, high sensitivity between 900 and 950nm means the Pulsar Forward FN455 Digital Night-Vision Monocular can be used with invisible IR illuminators.

Powerful Long-Range IR Illuminator

The Pulsar Forward FN455 Digital Night-Vision Monocular includes a detachable, high-power, invisible, infrared illuminator (940nm) with three adjustable IR power levels. The adjustable power levels can be used to alter the illuminator’s effective range and illumination level.

500m Viewing Range

The Pulsar Forward FN455 Digital Night-Vision Monocular can detect large game at a distance of 450-500m in total darkness. The Pulsar Forward FN455 Digital Night-Vision Monocular’s extensive viewing range is facilitated by its high infrared sensitivity, high-resolution display, HD sensor, high-quality optics, powerful integrated IR illuminator (for use in total darkness), and an eclectic selection of brightness and contrast settings.

HD Sensor

The Pulsar Forward FN455 Digital Night-Vision Monocular’s HD CMOS sensor with a resolution of 1280 x 720px enables it to deliver high-definition images with precise detail rendering.

SumLight Function

When engaged, the SumLight function increases the sensor’s sensitivity to enable passive observation in low light and at night. It works by automatically activating ‘frame addition’ and ‘summing adjacent pixel’ algorithms without compromising the image quality.

AMOLED Display

The Pulsar Forward FN455 Digital Night-Vision Monocular’s high-resolution AMOLED display is frost-resistant and will continue to provide crisp, fluid imaging at temperatures as low as -25°C.

Integrated Video & Sound Recorder

The user can capture and save videos with sound and still images to the Pulsar Forward FN455 Digital Night-Vision Monocular’s internal 16GB memory.

Recorded files can be transferred to a laptop or PC via a wired connection or they can be sent wirelessly to a smartphone or tablet with the Pulsar Stream Vision App installed.

Pulsar Stream Vision App

The Pulsar Stream Vision App is available for FREE for Android and iOS smartphones and tablets. It enables wireless transfer of images and videos from the Pulsar Forward FN455 Digital Night-Vision Monocular to the user’s smartphone or tablet in real-time. Additionally, using the Pulsar Stream Vision App and a Wi-Fi connection, footage can be streamed to video platforms such as YouTube.

Moreover, via the Pulsar Stream Vision App and a Wi-Fi connection, the user can update the Pulsar Forward FN455 Digital Night-Vision Monocular’s firmware. He/she can also control the Pulsar Forward FN455 Digital Night-Vision Monocular remotely.

Easily Transform Day Scopes into Night Scopes

The Pulsar Forward FN455 Digital Night-Vision Monocular features a four-point bayonet assembly. Using an adapter, it can be easily mounted onto the front optical bell of a daylight spotting scope or binoculars. Pulsar offers three adapter models designed to be permanently mounted onto scopes with 40, 42, 50 or 56mm lens-diameters.

An adapter allows the Pulsar Forward FN455 to be installed quickly in front of the lens. When the Pulsar Forward FN455 Digital Night-Vision Monocular is not being used, a protective cap can be attached to the adapter to protect the scope’s lens.

B-Pack Power Supply System

The Pulsar Forward FN455 Digital Night-Vision Monocular’s B-pack power supply includes a rechargeable IPS7 (6.5 Ah) battery capable of providing up to seven hours of operating time from a single charge (in maximum consumption mode).

The rechargeable IPS7 battery slots into the Pulsar Forward FN455 Digital Night-Vision Monocular's body without protruding. Its quick-release, quick-change design ensures that it can be replaced easily.

The Pulsar Forward FN455 Digital Night-Vision Monocular can also be powered using IPS10 (NOT included) and IPS14 (NOT included) battery packs.

Instant Start-Up

Once the ON button is pressed, the Pulsar Forward FN455 Digital Night-Vision Monocular will power up within three seconds. This conserves the battery life and allows the user to remain camouflaged during observation hiatuses.

IPX7 – Fully Waterproof

The Pulsar Forward FN455 Digital Night-Vision Monocular is IPX7-rated, making it suitable for use in heavy rain and snow. Moreover, it will remain fully operational even after a brief period of submersion in water.

The Pulsar Forward FN455 Digital Night-Vision Monocular is a highly sensitive, easy-to-use and ergonomic night-vision scope.
