Please see the video below for an overview of the Pulsar Thermion XQ38 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope.

1350m Detection Range

The Pulsar Thermion XQ38 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope’s advanced thermal sensor and high-quality germanium optics provide a maximum detection range of 1350m, even in total darkness.

Full-Colour HD AMOLED Display

Via the full-colour HD AMOLED display the user can view fluid, high-resolution thermal imaging with a crisp, richly contrasted and vividly coloured field-of-view (9.8°). The Pulsar Thermion XQ38 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope’s AMOLED technology conserves the riflescope’s battery power while ensuring it delivers high-quality imaging at temperatures ranging from -25°C to +50°C.

Imaging Tools & Functions

Image Boost Technology

Image Boost Technology increases the sharpness, clarity and detail throughout the field-of-view. This makes it easier for the user to identify animals, animals’ extremities, and small details such as branches, leaves, grass and terrain.

Colour Palettes

Using the Pulsar Thermion XQ38 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope’s selectable colour palettes, the riflescope’s display can be adapted to suit the application. The Pulsar Thermion XQ38 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope includes traditional White Hot and Black Hot colour palettes, as well as Red Hot, Rainbow and Ultramarine palettes for highlighting intense hot spots, and Violet, Red Monochrome and Sepia for reducing eye fatigue.

Customisable Reticle

All the Pulsar Thermion XQ38 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope’s reticles, including scalable reticles, are colour customisable. They are available in black, white, red or green.

Variable Digital Zoom

The variable digital zoom can be used to improve focus and target recognition at significant distances. The Pulsar Thermion XQ38 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope features a 4.0x variable digital zoom that can be altered between 2.5x and 10x.

Picture-in-Picture Function

A magnified image is displayed in the top-centre 10% of the field-of-view. The PIP function can be used to zoom-in on details without compromising the overall FOV. It is particularly useful for precise shot placement.

Video & Still-Photo Recording

The Pulsar Thermion XQ38 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope features an internal 16GB memory to which thousands of images and hours of footage can be recorded. Videos are saved as MPEG-4 files while images are saved as .jpg files.

Wi-Fi Connectivity & Stream Vision App Compatibility

The Pulsar Thermion XQ38 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope supports Wi-Fi connectivity and is compatible with Pulsar’s free Stream Vision App (available for free for Android and iOS). Using the Pulsar Thermion XQ38 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope with the Stream Vision App and a Wi-Fi connection facilitates the following:

  • Real-time streaming of footage to a smartphone or tablet allowing the hunter to use his/her smart device  as a second display
  • Transferring saved images and videos to a smartphone or tablet
  • Uploading firmware updates to the riflescope
  • Using a smartphone or tablet as a remote control to alter the riflescope’s settings

Zeroing Profiles Management

Up to five zeroing profiles each with ten distance coordinates can be saved to the Pulsar Thermion XQ38 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope’s internal 16GB memory. These zeroing profiles facilitate quick rifle change-outs and in-the-field adjustments.

User-Friendly Controls

Using the Pulsar Thermion XQ38 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope’s three function buttons, located at the top of the unit, and the encoder, situated on the left side of the unit, the hunter can access and manage all the weapon sight's menu options, settings and functions.

Mount on Standard 30mm Scope Rings

Hunters can mount the Pulsar Thermion XQ38 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope onto standard 30mm scope rings without using specialist tools or equipment.

High Recoil Rating

A high recoil rating of 6000 joules means the Pulsar Thermion XQ38 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope is suitable for use with large calibre rifles such as .375 H&H, 12-gauge and 9.3x64.

Rugged, IPX7, All-Metal Housing

The riflescope is waterproof rated to IPX7 making it suitable for use in heavy rain or snow. The Pulsar Thermion XQ38 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope will remain fully operational even after submersion in up to 1m of water for approximately thirty minutes.

B-Pack Mini Combined Power System

The Pulsar Thermion XQ38 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope is powered by an internal and external battery. The external battery extends the Pulsar Thermion XQ38 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope’s operating time and can be replaced within seconds.
