Its ability to measure and image temperatures up to 1030°C/ 1886°F makes it ideal for measuring the heat of glass furnaces, kilns and forges.

Thermal Imaging

The FLIR TG297 Industrial High-Temperature Thermal Imaging Camera’s high-temperature filter facilitates its ability to measure and image temperatures up to 1030°C/ 1886°F. Furthermore, this infrared imager features an IR resolution of 160 x 120px (19 200 pixels), 57° x 44° FOV, and a spot ratio of 30:1 which enables the user to conduct non-contact measurements from a safe distance. The user is able to identify and see the exact measurement area using the bullseye laser pointer.

Visual and thermal images with temperature measurements are viewable via the FLIR TG297 Industrial High-Temperature Thermal Imaging Camera’s bright, 2.4” colour display. The FLIR TG297 Industrial High-Temperature Thermal Imaging Camera is able to capture visible images using the built-in 2MP digital camera.

Furthermore, using the MSX® image enhancement function visible images can be overlaid onto thermal images to create a sharp, clear, detailed thermal picture enabling the user to identify the sources of faults as well as gauge the severity of problems with greater precision. The selectable thermal colour palettes can also be used to enhance particular details within the IR image, allowing the user to tailor the FLIR TG297 Industrial High-Temperature Thermal Imaging Camera to the application.

Memory

In addition to a rechargeable battery, the FLIR TG297 Industrial High-Temperature Thermal Imaging Camera is supplied with a 4GB SD card which has the capacity to store up to 50 000 images. The user can capture and save before and after images to document progress. Stored images can be transferred to a compatible smartphone, tablet or PC via Bluetooth or a USB connection.
