Night Vision Imaging

Pulsar’s proprietary software, cutting-edge components and signal processing algorithms deliver high infrared (night vision) sensitivity. The Pulsar Digisight Ultra LRF N450 Night-Vision Riflescope offers flawless passive mode performance, without IR illumination, in deep twilight and at night.

HD Sensor

To provide high-definition imaging with precise detail rendering, the Pulsar Digisight Ultra LRF N450 Night-Vision Riflescope includes a highly sensitive HD CMOS sensor with a 1280 x 720px resolution.

SumLight Function

The SumLight function enables passive observation (without IR illumination) in low light and at night as it increases the sensitivity of the Pulsar Digisight Ultra LRF N450 Night-Vision Riflescope’s sensor. It does this by automatically activating algorithms such as ‘frame addition’ and ‘summing adjacent pixel signals’, while preserving the image quality.

550m Night-Time Viewing Range

Excellent infrared sensitivity, a high-resolution display, a HD sensor, high magnification and a powerful built-in IR illuminator equip the Pulsar Digisight Ultra LRF N450 Night-Vision Riflescope with a maximum night-time detection distance of 550m, even in total darkness.

Powerful Long-Range IR Illuminator

The Pulsar Digisight Ultra LRF N450 Night-Vision Riflescope’s detachable, high-power 850nm infrared illuminator provides effective observation of remote objects and allows the user to set the spot position accurately within the field-of-view. The IR illuminator features three adjustable IR power levels for altering the effective range and the level of illumination of an object observed.

Integrated Laser Rangefinder

Accurate to ±1m, the Pulsar Digisight Ultra LRF N450 Night-Vision Riflescope’s integrated laser rangefinder can be used to measure the precise distance to the target.

The laser rangefinder can be used in Single Measurement or Scanning mode or with the THD (True Horizontal Distance) mode. It is recommended that the laser rangefinder is used with the THD mode when the hunter is shooting from high stands as it takes into account the angle of the shooter’s elevation relative to the target in order to determine a true horizontal distance. The angle of elevation (AoE) is displayed on the screen.

Built-in Accelerometer/ Gyroscope

The Pulsar Digisight Ultra LRF N450 Night-Vision Riflescope identifies and indicates cant and angles greater than 5°. Using arrows, the Pulsar Digisight Ultra LRF N450 Night-Vision Riflescope shows the direction and degree of lateral tilting. The more arrows that are displayed, the greater the degree of lateral tilting.

Auto Shutdown

The Pulsar Digisight Ultra LRF N450 Night Vision Riflescope will automatically shut down when it detects that it has been left in a resting/ non-shooting position; for example, when its vertical angle is 70°+ or its horizontal angle is 30°+.

Wide-Angle Eyepiece

As a result of its wide-angle, six-lens eyepiece, the Pulsar Digisight Ultra LRF N450 Night-Vision Riflescope has a field-of-view that is 20% larger than the previous Pulsar Digisight Ultra model. The wide-angle eyepiece, combined with the HD AMOLED display, delivers a rich and deep image perception.

HD AMOLED Display

The HD AMOLED display delivers crisp, fluid imaging at temperatures ranging from -25°C to +50°C. It is fast-responding and frost-resistant.

Integrated Video Recorder

Still images and videos can be captured and saved to the Pulsar Digisight Ultra LRF N450 Night-Vision Riflescope’s internal 16Gb memory. Recorded files can be transferred to a PC, laptop, smartphone or tablet via a wired or wireless interface.

Stream Vision App

Pulsar’s Stream Vision App is required to facilitate the wireless transfer of images and videos from the Pulsar Digisight Ultra LRF N450 Night-Vision Riflescope to the hunter’s smartphone or tablet. This app, which is available for free for Android and iOS, can also be used to stream footage to online video platforms such as YouTube.

Moreover, the Stream Vision App and a Wi-Fi connection can be used to update the Pulsar Digisight Ultra LRF N450 Night Vision Riflescope’s firmware and allows the user to use his/her smartphone or tablet as a wireless remote control.

Picture-in-Picture Mode

The Picture-in-Picture mode allows the user to view a magnified image of his/her target without compromising his/her field-of-view. The additional PiP frame is 1/10^thof the size of the display and contains an enlarged image and the reticle.

Variable Magnification

In addition to an optical magnification, the Pulsar Digisight Ultra LRF N450 Night Vision Riflescope includes a 4x digital zoom which ranges from 4.5x to 18x. The digital zoom can be adjusted continuously for a completely customised field-of-view. Alternatively, it can be changed in steps of 2x.

Accurate Zoom Zeroing

The riflescope can be zeroed at the basic magnification or at a zoom where the click value decreases as the zoom value increases. The reticle step is less than 0.1 MOA at the maximum magnification (18x); the aiming point remains stable throughout the entire magnification range.

Scalable Ballistic Reticles

Ballistic reticles are scaled proportionally to the magnification changes. To enable fast adjustments when shooting at various ranges and to facilitate quick distance measurements, the angular dimensions of the reticle’s parts remain the same throughout the magnification range.

All of the Pulsar Digisight Ultra LRF N450 Night-Vision Riflescope’s reticles are available in six colours. The user can choose from ten types including direct shot type, ballistic, scalable and regular.

As the Pulsar Digisight Ultra LRF N450 Night-Vision Riflescope’s reticle is electronic, it will always remain in the same plane as the target.

Increased Reticle Adjustment Range

The Pulsar Digisight Ultra LRF N450 Night Vision Riflescope’s reticle has a vertical and horizontal travel range of 2m at 100m; this is 25% greater than previous Pulsar models. The larger travel range means the riflescope can be zeroed at both short and long distances and enables it to be installed on rifles that use cartridges with a steep ballistic trajectory without the user having to change mounts and rails.

5 Individual Shooting Profiles

The user can save up to five shooting profiles for various rifles and cartridges. Each shooting profile can hold up to ten zeroing distances.

High-Calibre Recoil Resistance

The Pulsar Digisight Ultra LRF N450 Night-Vision Riflescope is suitable for use with smooth-bore weapons, airsoft weapons and rifled hunting weapons for 9.3x64, .30-06, .300 and .375 cartridges. This is because the Pulsar Digisight Ultra LRF N450 Night-Vision Riflescope has a high shock resistance: 12-gauge, 9.3x64 and .375 H&H.
