Seeing through smoke, detecting body heat and even automatically detecting the hottest part of an area are just a few of the functions of FLIR's K2 thermal camera, please see the video below for a quick introduction to this camera.

Designed purely for use by firefighters, this camera uses FLIR's high-quality thermal imaging to aid firefighters with making decisions, detecting trapped individuals and much more, allowing you to act quicker and safer in difficult environments.

Rugged and reliable with 2m dropprofiing onto concrete plus IP67 protection against water damage, the K2 is comfortable to operate even when wearing heavy gloves (with a single button for easy access) and the camera's pistol-shaped grip is designed to fit snugly in the hand at all times.

  • Digital Camera

As well as a thermal image the FLIR K2 Firefighting Thermal Camera can take a digital image. This helps when creating reports to show exactly where the problem area is and what it looks like.

  • IR Resolution

The FLIR K2 Firefighting Thermal Camera image resolution is 160 x 120 pixels. Every additional pixel means more valuable temperature information to isolate problem areas

  • Sensitivity

The FLIR K2 Firefighting Thermal Camera has a thermal sensitivity of 30mK NETD. A lower mK value means a more accurate thermal camera.

  • Temperature Range

This infrared camera has an accuracy of -20°C to +150°C. Electrical use thermal cameras tend to have the widest temperature range as they deal with the highest temperatures.
