About Thermal & Night Vision Camera Lenses

We have a wide variety of thermal camera lenses that can help you take perfect infrared photographs. Many thermal imaging cameras offer interchangeable lenses that can be used when doing thermography work, helping you get the very best thermal images possible.

By using different lenses that are most suitable for the subject or position, a thermal imaging camera can produce higher-quality results. In thermography, the most commonly used lenses are the wide-angle lens, the telephoto lens, and the macro lens.

Wide Angle Lens

A wide-angle lens, as the name suggests, allows a thermal imaging camera to shoot a larger subject without needing to move away from it. By using a wide-angle lens, it is possible to capture large thermal images without compromising on detail. Wide-angle lenses are ideal when carrying out building diagnostics work such as checking roofing and insulation.

Telephoto Lens

A telephoto lens is perfect for capturing small detail from a great distance. It is ideal for applications where a safe distance may need to be maintained between your thermal imaging camera and its subject, for example when taking thermal images of power generation facilities.

Macro Lens

By using a macro lens, it is easy to focus your thermal camera on small subjects without losing focus. A macro lens is most useful for taking thermal photographs of circuit boards and other small components.

Our range of lenses will help you take perfect thermal photographs.
