Thermal imaging was once highly expensive and only used exclusively.

However, things have changed considerably and now thermal imaging is much more affordable and used for a wide variety of applications.

Thermal imaging manufacturers have realised that the possibilities for thermography applications is vast and are now producing cameras with different specifications for different types of thermal work.

The cameras are constantly being perfected and it is now possible to detect even small temperature differences.

Cameras now have sharper images and combined with the PC analysis technology available, means that thermal imaging is now one of the best tools for diagnostics in many sectors.

There are many new and exciting features in modern thermal imaging cameras. From dew point alarms to humidity and insulation alarms for building thermography cameras alone.

However, there are more camera types than just building diagnostics application cameras. Thermal cameras have been used for electrical problem diagnostics, in equine thermography to analyse racehorse muscle problems, to airport infectious disease control and medical anaesthetics and diagnostics.

Thermal imaging is growing and developing constantly and is one sector that has an almost endless set of possibilities.
