The CAT® S62 Pro Thermal Imaging Smartphone is a durable, infrared-imaging android phone ideal for locating and diagnosing damp, draught, leaks, hotspots, electrical shorts, blockages, and elevated temperatures. It can be used in a variety of light conditions including complete darkness.

To facilitate professional-grade thermal imaging, the CAT S62 Pro Thermal Imaging Smartphone is equipped with a FLIR Lepton 3.5 sensor and a comprehensive selection of imaging functions and tools found in the MyFLIR app. Please see the video below for further information.

The CAT S62 Pro Thermal Imaging Smartphone is powered by Google Android 10 (with an upgrade to 11 and a 90-day security patch) and includes 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM.

FLIR Thermal Imaging

The FLIR Lepton 3.5 sensor increases the CAT S62 Pro Thermal Imaging Smartphone's thermal pixels by 400%, thereby providing a higher thermal resolution. The CAT® S62 Pro Thermal Imaging Smartphone is the only work phone in the world with a FLIR Lepton 3.5 sensor as it is exclusive to the CAT S62 for 12 months beginning in 2020.

The CAT S62 Pro Thermal Imaging Smartphone has been designed to capture thermal images that are 30% sharper compared to those taken by other models; it also provides a 1440x1080px HD output with VividIR.

VividIR improves image quality and thermal sensitivity; the CAT S62 Pro Thermal Imaging Smartphone is highly sensitive to slight temperature differences enabling it to deliver a detailed thermal map. The CAT S62 Pro Thermal Imaging Smartphone can measure temperatures between -20°C and +400°C.

In addition to a FLIR Lepton 3.5 sensor, the CAT S62 Pro Thermal Imaging Smartphone includes a 12MP dual pixel Sony camera. This enables support for alpha-blending and MSX-imaging modes. Both modes improve the clarity and context of thermal images, making it easier and quicker for the user to identify the source of faults. Alpha-blending combines visual footage and thermal footage, while the MSX-imaging mode overlays visual details onto the thermal image; the degree of blending or overlay can be adjusted via CAT S62 Pro Thermal Imaging Smartphone’s touchscreen display. Extensive Storage

Thermal images and data can be saved to the CAT S62 Pro Thermal Imaging Smartphone’s memory; it includes 128GB ROM and 6GB RAM. The CAT S62 Pro Thermal Imaging Smartphone’s memory may be expanded using a microSD card up to 256GB. The CAT S62 Pro Thermal Imaging Smartphone can accommodate a single SIM card and one microSD card OR two SIM cards.

The CAT S62 Pro Thermal Imaging Smartphone has been constructed to include a high-grade aluminium body and non-slip, rubberised TPU housing. Additionally, its bright, 5.7” FHD +18:9, touchscreen display is protected by toughened, scratch-resistant Corning® Gorilla® Glass 6. As a result, the CAT S62 Pro Thermal Imaging Smartphone is compliant with IP68, IP69 and Mil-Spec 810H, making it vibration-, sand-, salt-, mist- and pressure-resistant. It has also been drop-tested from 1.8m.
