The FLIR A700 Elevated Body Temperature Screening Thermal Camera is an analytical, adaptable and accurate thermal monitoring solution suitable for EBT screening. To that end, this FLIR A700 Thermal Camera has been equipped with FLIR’s EBT software, advanced smart sensor software, 24° lens and Wi-Fi connectivity.

It is able to capture high-quality thermal images with an IR resolution of 640 x 480px and can measure temperatures to an accuracy of ±2°C. The FLIR A700 Elevated Body Temperature Screening Thermal Camera’s precise motorised focus ensures it is able to take precise temperature measurements throughout its FOV, while its External Black-Body Correction function is designed to improve accuracy.

Furthermore, the FLIR A700 Elevated Body Temperature Screening Thermal Camera provides options for adjusting temperature measurements and alarms in relation to a reference temperature source. It is also equipped with a range of analysis functions and tools including spotmeters, boxes, deltas, isotherms, iso-coverage and hot/ cold detection. Its Polygon Line function can be used to increase definition in areas of interest and improve object analysis. Similarly, FSX® (Flexible Scene Enhancement) technology increases contrast in even-temperature scenes and enhances details in low light.

Thermal footage and data can be shared using the FLIR A700 Elevated Body Temperature Screening Thermal Camera’s Wi-Fi connectivity and compressed radiometric streaming. Compressed radiometric streaming reduces the bandwidth by 90%. This also allows multiple FLIR A700 Elevated Body Temperature Screening Thermal Cameras to be connected.

The FLIR A700 Elevated Body Temperature Screening Thermal Camera’s advanced smart sensor configuration equips it with edge computing and an Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). Its superior connectivity and built-in computing options mean it can be integrated into a variety of new and existing networks.

The FLIR A700 Elevated Body Temperature Screening Thermal Camera supports Modbus TCP and Ethernet/ IP enabling integration into HMI/ SCADA systems. Moreover, its superior control over Modbus TCP Master means it can be integrated into industrial automation systems using analogue and digital controls. In addition to this, the FLIR A700 Elevated Body Temperature Screening Thermal Camera can be integrated into web services with REST API over XML or JSON.

The FLIR A700 Elevated Body Temperature Screening Thermal Camera’s advanced thermal imaging, analytical tools and easy integration make it particularly well suited to identifying persons with possible EBT. Elevated Body Temperature (EBT) is often an indicator of fever which is a symptom of many illnesses including the recent COVID-19 coronavirus. Therefore, persons with suspected EBT may require further medical screening. The FLIR A700 Elevated Body Temperature Screening Thermal Camera is NOT a diagnostic tool; however, when it is used alongside medical equipment and tests, it can be used to help prevent the potential spread of infection.
