The FLIR Vue Pro R 640 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Cameras are of particular use to drone operators and thermographers requiring a way to conduct accurate, non-contact temperature measurements and capture aerial, radiometric thermal images. To this end, these cameras can be used with a variety of drones and sUAS. They support MAVLink integration and can be operated whilst airborne by using PWM inputs to adjust camera functions, and/or the FLIR Vue Pro mobile app to alter recording and control settings.
Furthermore, as the FLIR Vue Pro R 640 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Cameras are designed for aerial applications, their image settings have been configured for this purpose.
The FLIR Vue Pro R 640 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Cameras are equipped with a 640 x 512-pixel thermal sensor and feature a 9Hz frame rate (30Hz models are available here). Thermal images captured using these cameras include accurate, calibrated temperature information embedded in each pixel. This information is retained when the radiometric images are saved as radiometric JPEG files. It is also possible to save thermal images in a 14-bit TIFF format.
Additionally, the FLIR Vue Pro R 640 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Cameras can be used to record real-time thermal footage in a MOV format. Media is saved to the onboard micro-SD card.
Recorded footage and images may be subjected to comprehensive post-flight analysis and can be used to create reports using FLIR Tools Software (NOT included). In addition to compatibility with FLIR Tools Software, the FLIR Vue Pro R 640 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Cameras also support a simple power-in/ analogue video-out interface facilitated by a 10-pin mini-USB connector.
